LETSHUOER S15 Review
Background Information
Letshuoer is a company that focuses on making IEMs for audiophiles and stage monitoring use. The Letshuoer S15 is an upgraded model from the previously popular S12 planar IEM. The S15 will be priced at 329$.
Build, Fit & Comfort
The S15 is build with 3D printed front cavity from HeyGears (which is popular from making medical grade 3D printed shells for IEMs) and the faceplate is made from aluminum alloy. The build quality feels solid, sturdy and lightweight. There is no need to worry about the build quality of S15.
As for the fit and comfort, there is no sharp edges all around the IEM and I am able to get a stable fit with their stock eartips. They felt really comfortable for my ears as I don't feel them once I wear them. They have no issue for long period of wearing as I don't feel any fatigue and there is no pressure build up thanks to the R-Sonic Passive Filtering Module technology being used in the S15.

Packaging
The unboxing experience feels premium and minimal. The accessories are full and complete, plus there is a poster included too. (which I didn't expect but it is nice to have)
Inside the box includes:
- The IEM itself
- A very high quality hard cover carrying case with rubberized texture (in my opinion it looks like a cosmetic makeup case which I love it)
- High quality silver plated monocrystalline copper modular cable (2.5mm , 3.5mm , 4.4mm 90 degree termination is included)
- Loaded with wide bore and narrow bore eartips (both comes with S,M,L sizes)
- A poster/instruction manual.

Sound:
Disclaimer
Audio is a very subjective hobby which means not everyone will experience exactly the same experience I have based on different ear anatomy and different source is being fed however I believe the opinions will not be too different with mine.
Gears used in this review:
- Fosi Audio DS1 dongle dac
- Moondrop Moonriver 2 dongle dac
- Marantz PM5003 and CD5003
- S15's stock cable and stock eartip (narrow bore)
Sound Signature:
Slightly warm neutral. Good tonality and quite a natural timbre for a planar IEM. Safe treble and easy to recommend to people who are treble sensitive. Smooth sounding presentation overall.
Bass:
- Emphasizes on mid bass over sub bass.
- Satisfying thumpy bass and has good amount of weight to it, listening to kickdrums are satisfying.
- Well textured and controlled bass, doesn't bleed into mids.
- Not at basshead level quantity but perfect balance between fun and technical amount of bass.
Mids:
- Rich, full, smooth and lush mids.
- A perfect balance between vocals and instruments, nothing is too emphasized.
- Male and female vocals are equally good , good texture and not recessed.
- Laidback upper midrange, which makes it a good relaxing sound.
Treble:
- Smooth treble overall.
- Instruments can sound sparkly and clean.
- Not harsh and sibilant, safe treble.
- Not very detail set for its price.
Technicalities:
- Soundstage is wide but lacking in terms of depth and height, could be better.
- Imaging is good, instruments can pinpoint its position easily but not too precise in my opinion.
- Works perfectly well with busy tracks, able to keep up really well and doesn't sound cramp together.
Conclusion:
Letshuoer did a good job with taming the planar timbre to make it sound really natural and its R-Sonic Passive Filtering Module technology to reduce the ear canal pressure to make it a comfortable pair of IEM to wear for long period of time. Although its technicalities falls a bit short, I still think its an enjoyable and pleasant IEM to listen to. For my personal preference, I would like it to have more treble energy. The S15 is a grower IEM to me, the more I listen to it, the more enjoyable it becomes. In my opinion, I find it to works best in rock genre. Thank you for reading.
*Shout out to Letshuoer for sending me a sample unit for review purposes. I sincerely thank them for their trust and support.
